HIGHWAY A4 WITH CAR

approx. 4.6 km approx. 10 min. Travel time, without traffic.

• Exit Dresden-Neustadt and via Lommatzscher Str. onto Leipziger Straße (towards the city center)
• Follow Leipziger Straße until you see a bridge underpass
• Shortly before the bridge underpass, turn right onto Uferstraße (you will see the sign “Jugendschiffe”)
• Follow Uferstraße to the end (to the Elbe meadows), then turn right onto the Elbe cycle path (sign “Jugendschiffe” can be seen)
• Arrival at Schiffsherberge Pöppelmann, parking lot directly in front of the pier
• If you are coming from the city, it is not permitted to turn left onto Uferstraße after the bridge underpass. Please use the next turning point and follow the description above
• Please note that there is currently a construction site at the end of Uferstraße. Simply turn right before the construction site and cycle slowly along the Elbe cycle path. (as of August 2020)
